The defender has problems with ankle and knee on the right leg and is doubtful for the Clasico on Saturday at "Camp Nou".
Alba started as a holder at 1: 1 draw with Sociedad yesterday, but missed today's training and made-ups confirmed serious bruise on his right knee and right ankle strain.
Since the beginning of the season the Spanish international has played just six league games for Barcelona because of injury.
Turkish midfielder Arda Turan missed yesterday's match with Sociedad due to a virus, but will be ready for the match against Real Madrid.
